About Dr. Fanous

Oral and Maxillofacial surgery is a specialty that diagnoses and treats problems of the jaws, mouth, facial bones, face and related structures. In addition to four years of Dental School, Dr. Fanous has an additional five years of extensive surgical training in an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical residency training program.

Ramsey Fanous, DDS graduated with honors in 1990 from Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Fanous attended the Medical College of Wisconsin where he completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in 1995. Dr. Fanous was engaged in private practice in Oklahoma until 1997, when he returned to his hometown of Dallas to establish his practice.

Dr. Fanous is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a fellow member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, The Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Texas Dental Association and the American Dental Association and the North Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is also a fellow of the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Fanous is on staff at Baylor University Medical Center, the Medical Center of Plano, Baylor Plano and Presbyterian Plano. Dr. Fanous teaches dental students at the Baylor College of Dentistry each week.
